About The Brand

In 1895, Daniel Swarovski, a Bohemian inventor and visionary, moved to the village of Wattens, Tyrol in Austria, with his new invention designed for cutting and polishing crystals for jewelry. From this humble beginning, Swarovski has grown to be the world’s leading producer of precision-cut crystal for fashion, jewelry and more recently lighting, architecture and interiors.

Swarovski crystals have become an essential ingredient of international design. Since 1965 the company has also catered to the fine jewelry industry with precision-cut manufactured crystals and genuine gemstones. Highlighting the creativity that lies at the heart of the company, Swarovski’s own brand lines of accessories, jewelry and home décor items are sold through more than 2,200 retail outlets worldwide.

Another notable achievement is the Swarovski Crystal Society which has close to 300,000 members worldwide, and brings together keen collectors of the celebrated crystal figurines. Established in 1995, in Wattens, Swarovski Kristallwelten, the multi-media crystal museum celebrates Swarovski’s universe of innovation and inspiration.

Innovation, creativity, and precision have always driven Swarovski’s glasses collection endless exploration of crystal and its limitless possibilities. The collections demonstrate the company’s willingness to incorporate a hint of its brand style, alluding to crystal in a subtle and original way.

Bold, diamond like shapes, truly eye-catching, seductive design and romantic crystal paved frames are the main characteristics of the Swarovski glasses designs.
